Job Description:
As a Hazmat CDL Route Driver at Clean Harbors, you will be
pivotal in executing our commitment to sustainability and safety in
the handling and transporting of hazardous materials. This vital
position involves managing the disposal and logistics of hazardous
waste, servicing customer locations while adhering to all local,
state, and federal health and safety regulations. Our drivers are
not only a part of daily operational tasks but also embody our
mission to create a safer, cleaner environment across North
America. Operate vehicles carrying hazardous materials, adhering to
all safety policies and legal regulations. Plan routes to ensure
the most efficient, safe delivery and disposal of hazardous waste.
Conduct daily inspections and maintenance checks of vehicles and
equipment. Complete and maintain accurate documents such as logs,
reports, and records in compliance with company policies and
government regulations. Cultivate strong professional relationships
with customers, addressing and resolving inquiries and issues.
Participate in safety meetings and training sessions. Proficient
knowledge of DOT and hazardous waste regulations and safety
procedures. Excellent driving skills with a strong safety
orientation. Good interpersonal communication abilities for
customer interaction. Physical capability to manage labor-intensive
duties. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with
Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) and Tanker endorsements. DOT Medical
Certification.
