Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 8-hour day shifts with call at least one weekday per week and every 3-4 weekends. Additional call may be required based on departmental needs. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an interventional radiology unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care experience, as well as conscious sedation and interventional radiology procedural skills. You will be involved in caring for both acute and chronic patients, as well as performing invasive procedures under imaging guidance. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and provide care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Administer moderate sedation and manage vasoactive drips. Ensure compliance with safety and care standards during procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the healthcare team. Participate in on-call rotations as required. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Strong critical care experience and proficiency in conscious sedation. Prior experience in interventional radiology. Experience in large teaching facilities is highly preferred. Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Must have EPIC experience within the past 12 months.
