to find a qualified PCU RN in Lebanon, New Hampshire, 03756! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive
Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour PM-AM or 12 Hour AM-PM Hours
per Shift: 11.5 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience
required in a progressive care setting. Experience with arterial
lines, ventriculostomies, subdural drains, and lumbar drains.
Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and invasive blood pressure
monitoring through arterial lines. Experience managing Bi-PAP/C-PAP
and tracheostomy patients on ventilators. Knowledge of low-dose
pressors, vasoactive medications, and inotropes. Experience with
mannitol and hypertonic saline. Ability to manage complex wounds
and various lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients.
License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: Current
certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Must-Have: Experience
with neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, traumatic brain injury,
spinal cord injury, and surgical interventions related to neuro
care. Ability to work with patients in a progressive care
environment. Description: Two Registered Nurses needed for an
immediate start. The position is for a 10-bed progressive care
unit. The unit specializes in medical conditions such as
neuromuscular disorders and meningitis. It is a primary stroke
center and handles traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury
cases. Surgical interventions include tumor resections (brain and
spine), spinal surgeries, and head and neck cancer procedures. The
unit is also involved in trials for normal pressure hydrocephalus
(NPH) with lumbar drains. Candidates must have experience in
critical care nursing and be familiar with the mentioned procedures
