Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Ortho Trauma for a travel nursing job in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ortho Trauma - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Rotating, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 13, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a busy adult surgical unit specializing in orthopedic and trauma patients, requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience and NH or compact RN licensure. Details - 36-bed adult surgical unit in a hospital setting - Primary patient population includes orthopedic and trauma patients, with additional specialties such as plastics and general surgery - Focus on patient mobilization and rehabilitation in a high-acuity environment - Day/Night rotation schedule with 36 hours per week - Telemetry monitoring required Requirements - Active NH or compact RN license required - BLS certification required - Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma setting - Proficiency with chest tubes, trachs, and laryngectomies - Experience managing IV drips including Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone - Experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients - Central line care, maintenance, and blood draws experience required - Complex wound care experience required - Two professional references from managers required for consideration Additional Information - Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position - Care responsibilities include managing high-acuity post-surgical patients with complex needs including trachs, central lines, and complex wounds American Traveler Job ID P-686435.
