Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Manchester, NH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,124 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00-07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Telemetry experience is required. Candidates without telemetry experience will not be considered for the role. Description: Unit Information: The unit has 20 beds. The staff consists of a charge nurse and 8-10 RNs during the day shift, with 1-3 LNA s and a sitter available as needed. On the night shift, there is also a charge nurse along with 8-10 RNs, 1-3 LNA s, and a sitter as needed. Patient ratios vary based on acuity. For ECMO patients, the ratio is 2:1. Post-open heart surgery patients have a 1:1 ratio. Critical ICU patients and those on devices are also assigned a 1:1 ratio. Typical ICU assignments are 1:2, while step-down units may have a ratio of 1:3-4. Equipment includes IV pumps, telemetry monitors, hoyer lifts, Impella, IABP, and CRRT systems, among others. The electronic medical record system used is Sunrise. The patient population is a mix of medical and surgical ICU. The typical hiring profile seeks candidates with experience in critical drips and ventilation. Candidates with prior ICU experience will be prioritized. Typical procedures performed in the unit include pericardiocentesis with drains, thoracentesis, central line insertion, arterial line insertion, chest tube insertion, intubation, TEE, cardioversion, TTE, and transvenous pacing wire insertion. The best personality fit for the team is someone who is organized yet adaptable. Floating areas may include progressive care units. There is a dress code in place for scrubs. Every third weekend is required, and there is no on-call duty. This posting is for one open position.
