Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: Rehabilitation or Medical/Surgical Experience IV Therapy Experience Description: Inpatient Rehabilitation unit with 19 beds. Staffing is based on a 6:1 patient ratio depending on census. Day shift typically includes a charge nurse, several RNs, CNAs, and sitters. Night shift maintains a 6:1 patient ratio. Unit is equipped with mechanical lifts, pumps, and utilizes EMR software. Candidates must possess skills in rehabilitation and medical/surgical nursing. Preferred skills include wound care and experience with strokes and traumatic brain injuries. Ideal candidates are flexible, kind, and thorough. Floating may occur to critical care, medical-surgical, or emergency units. Dress code requires plain colored scrubs.
