Job Title: RN - Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU) Location:
Morristown, VT 05661 Pay Rate: Up to $2937/week Start Date:
07/07/2025 Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks) Shift: Days (3-12's /
4-10's), Call is every 8th weekend and 2-3 weeknight calls in 4

clinicians and partner facilities. Position Summary: Delivery of
age specific, direct patient care. The RN provides nursing care to
patients utilizing the Nursing Process and within the framework of
the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty
Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN assumes leadership
responsibilities, which includes delegation of work to other levels
of employees. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal
laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health
care. Key Responsibilities: Monitoring post-operative patients'
levels of consciousness during recovery from anesthesia. Measuring
and recording patients' vital signs. Closely observing patients for
signs of side effects of anethesia medication. Treating pain,
nausea, and other post-operative symptoms of anesthesia. Updating
charts, patient files, and medical records. Collaborating with the
medical team on post-operative patient care and facilitating timely
specialized interventions. Providing comfort and reassurance to
distressed post-operative patients and concerned family members.
Educating patients and their families on post-surgery care, as well
as answering questions. Required Qualifications: 1 year of RN PACU
experience BLS Certification by AHA Compact or VT State License
