Who We Are: Elliot Health System's 32-bed, full-service, Level
II Trauma Center Emergency Department provides the best care for
patients and their families, treating nearly 57,000 patients
annually. Board Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians,
Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Trauma & Critical
Care Surgeons provide exceptional coverage in our department. Our
trauma team of board-certified or board-eligible trauma and
critical care surgeons treats community children and adults 24/7. A
Pediatric Emergency Department with board-certified pediatric
emergency medicine physicians, an Acute Psychiatric Unit with
dedicated psychiatric nurses, and a Rapid Triage & Treatment Area
for less urgent patients reduce length of stay. Our providers
collaborate with in-house radiologists, hospitalists, critical care
physicians, and a multidisciplinary team of medical and surgical
specialists to provide the best care and adapt to emergency
medicine innovations. About the Job: As an Emergency Room (ER)
Nurse, you will be responsible for providing the highest level of
care to patients in need of immediate medical assistance. You must
possess excellent communication and multitasking skills to
effectively treat individuals with potentially life-threatening
injuries or illnesses. What You’ll Do: - Assessing patient needs
and providing critical care - Monitoring vital signs, administering
medications, and responding to medical emergencies - Working as
part of a team of doctors, nurses and other healthcare
professionals - Creating patient care plans and maintaining
accurate medical records Who You Are: - Graduate of an accredited
school of nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred. -
Minimum of one (1) year of recent clinical experience preferred. -
Registered Nurse or Compact State License in New Hampshire. - BLS
certification during orientation and employment. ACLS needed within
six months of hire. PALS required within one year of hire. Crisis
management certification. CPI advanced necessary within six months
of hire. ENPC encouraged, TNCC required within one year of hire. -
Nurses are expected to pursue professional certification upon
eligibility or within three years of entering the specialty
